How do I create a narrator-only video?

Two ways to make a narrator-only video: prompt it, or paste your exact voiceover script.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

You can create a narrator-only video in two ways:

  1. Prompt Box (recommended if you want Hypernatural to write the narration)

  2. Voiceover option (recommended if you already have the exact narration text)

Option 1: Prompt Box (generate a narrator-only script)

Use this when you want Hypernatural to generate the narration for you.

Steps

  1. In the Prompt Box, describe what you want and include a clear instruction like:

    • “Narrator-only. No character dialogue.”

    • “Only one speaker: Narrator.”

    • “No characters. No dialogue.”

  2. Click the green arrow to generate and format the script.

  3. Review the script to confirm it only includes narrator lines.

  4. Generate your video.

Tip: If the script includes characters or dialogue you don’t want, remove those lines or regenerate with stricter instructions like “Do not add any characters.”

Option 2: Voiceover (read your script word-for-word)

Use this when you have an exact script you want read out loud.

Steps

  1. Click the + icon in the prompt box and select Voiceover.

  2. Paste the exact text you want the narrator to read.

  3. Generate your video.

ℹ️ Voiceover is a true voiceover track—everything you paste will be read by the narrator. Avoid scene headers, character labels, or stage directions unless you want them spoken.
