Assign Volunteers from the Survey Grid

Users have the option to assign volunteers from inside a specific survey, or from the survey grid. The survey grid is the page that is visible when you click into Field > Surveys. Depending on your level of access, survey grid may be your only option for volunteer assignments. This guide covers the steps of getting volunteers assigned to call and walk surveys from this page.

Call Survey Assignments

All survey assignments from the grid will happen by selecting the check box next to a survey and referring to 'Assign' in the bottom action bar.

Check the box next to the call survey and select Assign > Assign through Grid View.

The side panel will pop out to enable you to check the volunteers you want to assign to the survey. Select 'Save' when you're finished.

As long as the survey is active, volunteers will see it appear in the i360 Call app.

Walk Survey Assignments

Check the box next to a walk survey and select Assign. You can choose to assign via grid view or map view.

Grid View Assignments

Check the boxes next to the volunteer names you'd like to assign. Refer to the bottom left corner to select 'Assign/Unassign > To Walkbooks'. You may also choose from any of the other options, but 'To Walkbooks' is recommended for custom assignments.

Check the boxes next to each walkbook you'd like to assign and select save.

Map View Assignments

Selecting Map View will show you a visual representation of walkbooks available in this survey.

Select walkbooks one-by-one or use the selector tools to the right of the map to choose which walkbooks to assign to users. Click once to start the selection tool and click again to close it.

Check the boxes next to the users you'd like to assign and hit 'Save' to apply selections.
