The simple timeline allows you to visualize the time range for your sequence as part of the video export. It negates the need to add a timeline to videos via post-processing workflows.
To use the timeline, toggle the Timeline on in the Sequence Editor. The timeline will appear in the scene window if the sequence has a start and end date set via time keyframes.
