Overview Tab

Overview Tab provides high-level snapshot of the staff member’s key details.

Accessing the Staff Profile

To open a staff member’s profile:

  1. Navigate to Staff from the main menu

  2. Click on a staff member’s name

  3. You will land on the Overview tab by default

Overview Layout

The Overview tab is split into two main areas:

  • Highlights (centre) – Quick summary cards

  • Details panel (right-hand side) – Full staff record grouped into sections

Highlights Section

The Highlights section provides a quick snapshot of key staff details.

Fields include:

  • Role – The staff member’s assigned role (e.g. Service Delivery Worker)

  • Nationality – Displays nationality (or “Missing” if not set)

  • Type – Employment type (e.g. Employee)

  • Employee ID – Unique staff identifier

  • Date of Birth – Includes calculated age

  • Access Business – The business the staff member belongs to

This section is designed for quick reference without needing to expand detailed fields.

Notes Preview

Below Highlights, you’ll see a Notes preview:

  • Displays recent notes (if any)

  • Shows a count of total notes

  • Includes a shortcut to View all notes

You can also quickly add a note using the + icon.

Details Panel

The right-hand panel contains the full staff record, grouped into expandable sections.

Contact & Employment

Includes core staff details:

  • Email

  • Phone

  • Address

  • Role

  • Type (Employee/Contractor)

  • Access Business

  • Employee ID

Basic Information

Additional personal details:

  • Preferred Name

  • Gender

  • Nationality

  • Date of Birth

  • Age (auto-calculated)

Emergency Contact

Used for safety and compliance:

  • Name

  • Relationship

  • Primary Phone

  • Alternate Phone

  • Email

  • Address

Account Information

Relevant for contractors and payroll setup:

  • ABN (Australian Business Number)

  • Trading Name

Editing Information

To update staff details:

  1. Locate the field you want to edit in the Details panel

  2. Click directly into the field (or use the edit control if shown)

  3. Enter the updated information

Changes are saved inline, making it quick to maintain accurate records.

Editing Information

To edit any section:

  1. Hover on the field that you'd like to change

  2. Click the Edit button

  3. Make your changes
