To add an entry:
Open the timesheet.
Click an employee row to expand it.
Click Add Shift.
Fill in the shift entry details and save.
When adding, you’ll create a new entry with:
Employee (already selected based on the row you’re adding to)
Selection Type: Client or Site
Client/Site selection (search and select)
Start date/time and end date/time
Total hours (auto-calculated)
The Client/Site switch is important:
Choose Client when the time relates to a client appointment.
Choose Site when the work is site-based, and you want it recorded against a site instead of a client.
Imploy calculates the total hours once your start/end times are entered, helping reduce manual hour mistakes. If the hours look wrong, check that the dates and times are correct (especially if the shift crosses midnight).
Good reasons to add an entry:
A shift was completed but didn’t appear correctly in the pay period
You need to record an additional paid entry for an employee
A site shift needs to be included for payroll
Important limits to remember:
You can’t add or edit entries for an employee if their timesheet is locked.
If the overall timesheet has been finalised and locked, you’ll need to unlock before making changes (with reason + password).
