Understanding Blocklists in Inbox Monster

Within the Inbox Monster platform, there are three options available in the Blocklist section of the navigation panel: Overview, Domains, and IPs.

Blocklist Overview

The Overview option provides a Blocklisting dashboard, starting with 4 tiles that showcase the amount of active listings on your monitored domains, IPs, and specific callouts for Spamhaus listings at both the domain and IP level.

Below, the Blocklist Trend graph showcases the total number of blocklisting present for your program over the last 30 days.

Next, there are both Domain Listings and IP Listings tables containing specific listings in place at the given moment. Below you can see an example of specific IPs that have been added, with the date listed, the IPs themselves, labels applied to the IP, the blocklists, and the total days listed.

If you were to click into a specific asset, such as one of the IPs shown above, you'd be able to access an additional breakdown for that asset. This includes any active listings and a view into added/removed history for that asset on all blocklists.

Active Listing and History

Below is a sample of both the Active Listings and History breakdowns for one sample IP, defaulting to a 7 day view:

Domain Blocklists

When selecting the Domain option, you'll be presented with blocklistings by domain specifically. This includes the domains themselves as well as any IPs that have been bound to the domain.

When clicking on a specific domain, you'll be directed to a similar breakdown for that particular domain's inbox placement in relation to blocklisting, Active Listings, and History. This is filterable by both ISP and date range.

IP Blocklists

A similar breakdown is available when navigating to the Blocklists by IP view (Blocklist > IP).

By clicking into any of the monitored IPs, you'll be presented with a similar breakdown that we saw for Domains. This includes Blocklist Listings over Time, Active Listings, and exportable History. This data is also filterable by date range.

Depending your active Blocklist Listings, there may be quite a bit to dig into within the Blocklist subsection. If you have any questions about active Blocklist listings, please feel free to reach out - we're here to help!
