Email Feedback Loop Reports (FBLs) are a very helpful tool for maintaining the health, reputation, and deliverability of any sending domain.

The Inbox Monster platform offers the option to utilize Feedback Loop Reporting within our Reputation Toolset that grants senders a variety of exportable breakdowns, including:

  • Complaint Time Series

    • Filterable by Date Range, From Address, Recipient, IP, Subject Line, and Provider

  • Complaints by Domain

  • Complaints by IP

  • Complaints by Recipient

  • Complaints by Friendly From

  • Complaints by Provider

  • Complaint "List" View

πŸ’‘ Feedback Loop Reporting is an added cost to the standard platform.

Getting Started

To begin setting up your Inbox Monster Feedback Loop Reporting, we recommend reaching out to your Account Manager to request a dedicated FBL address.

This address can be used for either forwarding existing Complaint Traffic aggregation, or can be used directly when enrolling in FBLs from providers. Outside of FBL, you are able to see the complaint data passed back from GPT and SNDS in a variety of areas in the system (Reputation Drilldown Views, Dashboard, Inbox Placement Reports).

πŸ’‘ You'll need to be able to route FBL data to two locations, both to Inbox Monster for reporting, and to your preferred processing method.

Some uses of Feedback Loop data include:

  • List Hygiene: Remove or suppress email addresses that have complained to ensure you don't continue to send emails to users who do not want them.

  • Content Review: Revise and improve email content to be more relevant and engaging to your audience, reducing the likelihood of being marked as spam.

  • Permission Practices: Ensure you are following best practices for email marketing, including obtaining proper consent from recipients and allowing easy opt-out options.

  • Segmentation: Segment your email list to send more targeted and relevant emails to specific groups within your audience.

  • Testing: Use A/B testing to experiment with different email formats, subject lines, and content to determine what works best and reduces spam complaints.
