How to build a 5-article listicle ad

Requirements

To get started, ensure you have the following:

Access to the Indie Ads Manager platform
A standard dynamic ad zone (not fixed size)
- Ideally, the 5-article listicle would be inserted after content in posts, on the homepage, or on a category archive page
All partner content including recognition logos, thumbnail images, etc.

Log into Indie Ads Manager and navigate to the relevant Advertiser record (or create a new Advertiser)
Click Add Campaign and select Standard Campaign
Enter a name for your Campaign and adjust the targeting & scheduling levels
Click Create Campaign
In your newly created campaign, click Add Ad Item
From the Add Ad item window, select Native (Custom Rendering/API)
Give the ad a name (required)
Set the ad item's size to Dynamic then complete the remaining fields as needed
Select the Display: 5-Article Listicle template from the drop-down
Fill in the ad variables as outlined below. These variables will repeat for each article.
Repeat step 10 for each article.
Click Save Ad Item

These settings control the main branding and color scheme for the entire ad unit.

Main Ad Title: The primary headline for the ad block (e.g., "Top Canadian Summer Travel Spots")
Brand Logo: The image for the main logo to display in the header, beside the main ad title
Article Headline Color: The font color of the headlines of each individual article

Fill out the details for each of the five articles in the ad unit.

Headline: The title of the article
Subtitle: The subtitle that sits below the headline and thumbnail
Thumbnail: The article's preview image
Listicle Icon: The image that populates the small icon space on each article
Click-Through URL: The destination URL for each article
