Landing Page Settings for Pre-Registration

A pre-registration landing page lets you collect contact details from people who want to be the first to hear about ticket sales, early access, or upcoming announcements. This article covers the recommended settings for each step of the landing page editor when setting up a pre-registration page.

For a full walkthrough of the editor, refer to this article: How to Create a Landing Page.

Campaign Settings

Save registration as: Contact. People who pre-register are not yet ambassadors — they are contacts you want to reach when tickets go on sale.

Tag: Add a tag that identifies this pre-registration group, for example "pre-register-2026" or "early-access-ade". This makes it easy to segment and target them later when sending your ticket launch campaign.

End date: Optional, but recommended if your pre-registration window closes before tickets go on sale. Set the end date to the moment you want to stop collecting new sign-ups.

Form Settings

Keep the form short. The goal is to lower the barrier to sign up, so only ask for what you need.

Recommended fields: First name, Last name, Email, and Phone. This gives you enough data to personalise your follow-up campaign and reach contacts via both email and WhatsApp.

Consent: Configure the consent block to cover the channels you plan to use for your ticket launch. If you are planning to send both an email and a WhatsApp message, make sure both consent types are selected. Set the consent block as required so contacts must actively opt in before submitting.

Confirmation Page

Write a message that confirms the sign-up and sets clear expectations. Let people know what happens next, for example, that they will be the first to receive a link when tickets go on sale. We recommend always communicating the exact moment when tickets become available.

Example: "You're on the list. You can expect a message on January 28 at 12.00 with a link to secure your tickets."

Tip for when you're sending a confirmation message via WhatsApp with more info about the pre-sale: add a button with 'Go To WhatsApp' with a direct link to the chat. You can set this up with a "https://wa.me/" link and customize it by adding your phone number like this: "https://wa.me/31612345678"
