Introduction to Ation

Ation is a data-driven farm labor management solution.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Ation is a solution designed to help you manage greenhouse (farm) personnel and tasks more efficiently.

In farm operations, "people" are ultimately the factor that has the greatest impact on productivity and profit. Ation is designed to track work status in real-time and manage attendance, tasks, performance, yield, issues, and pest control records all in one place.

Who uses Ation?

Ation is a system used by both managers and workers together.

  • Managers (Web/PC Screen)

    • Create work plans, monitor work status, manage issues, and analyze performance through reports.

    • Quickly grasp the current situation remotely without having to be constantly present on-site.

  • Workers (Mobile App)

    • Handle Farm In (clock-in), start tasks, record data, and Farm Out (clock-out) primarily through QR scanning instead of complex manual entries.

    • The core focus is on recording "quickly and accurately" directly from the field.

How does Ation work?

  1. Workers scan a QR code to Farm In and enter a Line to begin their work.

  2. During work, they simply enter work volume (quantity) or work time and register any Issues with photos if necessary.

  3. The recorded data is uploaded and reflected on the Manager Web screen, where managers can check the status and performance on the dashboard and reports.

  4. Since it is QR-based, no special equipment is required, and the simple interface ensures that anyone can learn to use it easily.

What can you do with Ation?

Ation aims to simultaneously improve management workflows and field recording.

1) Real-time Status Tracking (Dashboard/Monitoring)

  • View today's work, attendance, yield, and issue status at a glance on the dashboard.

  • Check more details through real-time work status updates to respond quickly to problems.

2) Greenhouse Issue Management (Facilities/Pests, etc.)

  • When a worker registers an issue via the app, the manager can immediately check the location, photos, and details.

  • Manage issues systematically by updating their processing status to minimize potential damage.

3) Yield Management

  • Monitor yield on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

  • When workers enter figures, the average and predicted yield per line are automatically calculated, allowing you to compare and take action based on differences between sectors or lines.

4) Attendance Management & Performance Tracking

  • Check Farm In/Out times, total working hours, and overtime.

  • Identify who has strengths in specific tasks through key indicators like work time, volume, and speed, then reflect these insights in staffing and work planning.

5) Work Planning & Remote Instructions

  • Managers can create necessary tasks and schedules and easily issue instructions to workers remotely.

  • Utilize images and multilingual text to reduce the burden of explanation and minimize communication errors.

6) Pest Control Record Management

  • Pest control records are vital data for reducing pest damage and increasing productivity.

  • Compare past records with the current situation to establish a pest control strategy tailored to your farm's specific conditions.
