iQualify sends emails about course activity and you can set your preferences to only get the updates that matter to you.

Note: Some emails are always sent to keep you informed, including account security notices, course invitations, and key system alerts.

How to update your email notifications

  1. Select your Avatar, then choose My account.

  2. Open Notifications.

  3. Select the categories you want to receive by email.

  4. Update to save your changes.

Screenshot of the iQualify “Notifications” tab under account settings. The heading reads “Manage your notification preferences.” Three options are listed — Assessment and Badges, Course content, and Social — each with a checkbox in the “Email” column. The first two are ticked, while “Social” is unticked. A teal Update button appears in the bottom right corner, highlighted by an arrow.

Note: Only email notifications are managed in this area. You can opt-in to SMS notifications in your Profile settings.

What are the preference options?

Assessment and badges

Stay updated on assessed work and badge progress. Learners get alerts for assessment changes, marking, and badges earned, while facilitators and coaches are notified when tasks are ready to mark or badges to approve.

Course content

Get alerts about non-assessed activities and content reports. Learners are notified for practice tasks changes, and feedback, while facilitators get alerts when feedback is needed, and when content is reported.

Note: Authors will also get notifications when facilitators confirm content reports, if this option is enabled by their organisation.

Social

Get alerts about social activity. Learners are notified when a Pulse is available in their course, while both learners and facilitators get updates about activity in Talk channels.

Note: Subscribing to Social notifications here doesn't automatically subscribe you to all Talk channels. You'll also need to subscribe to each talk channel you want updates from.
