What your organisation need to be able to use Turnitin with iQualify
Network partner who wish to use this will need to have an existing Turnitin feedback studio licence.
Note: If you are not sure if you are a Network partner, please reach out to our support team who will be able to let you know.
Are there any additional costs?
No, it’s just the Turnitin feedback studio licence that is needed.
How it works
All the submissions made from Network partners ākonga go into a submissions pool in Turnitin, when other ākonga submit their work will be compared to the other submissions in the pool, as well as internet sources and all Turnitin indexed sources.
When there is a match...
If there is a match the requester will be notified that there was a similarity match. The information they receive will be anonymised, there will be no identifying information as to whose submission the similarity match came from.
Ākonga can do a check and they will receive a report back.
When ākonga submit their assessment they as well as the facilitator will receive the report.
Important things to note:
You can not mark or provide feedback from within Turnitin.
Facilitators cannot manually submit an assessment for checking.
This is not a Turnitin integration. All marking will need to be done outside of iQualify.
