As a learner, you can send a private message to the facilitator(s) of your course to get some support.

Note: Not all learning providers enable this feature so it may not be available for your particular course.

As this is a private channel, any messages in Facilitator support are seen only by you and your facilitator(s).

How to post a message to your facilitator(s)

Head to Talk > Private channels and select Facilitator support to open the channel.

Note: Your organisation might have chosen to call this something other than Facilitator support, but it should still be the only channel under Private channels.

In this channel you’ll see any previous messages you’ve sent and start a new message.

To start a new message, use Post something and construct your message.

When you’re happy with your message, select Post to send it to the facilitator(s) of your course.

How you're notified of private facilitator support posts

When a facilitator replies, you'll see an in-app notification (found in the Bell in the top right).

And as a learner, you’re automatically subscribed to get email updates about posts to this private channel. So if you've set your preferences to allow email or text, you'll get an email/text too.

You can unsubscribe at any time by selecting the Stop email updates at the top of the channel.
