As an author, you can add goals to your course for other collaborators to see. These goals are only seen by authors collaborating on the course. They are not displayed to learners once the course has been published.
Goals are good for other collaborators to have as a reference point for collaborative courses. You can find goals in the main build page under the course title and description.
