Information About Payment Processors and Merchant Accounts
To receive donations via credit card, a merchant account must be opened with one of the payment processors supported by the system. By default, organizations are provided with an account through the PayMe payment platform, which supports processing with Isracard, Cardcom, and CAL.
Important – Opening a Merchant Account with CAL:
Starting August 1, 2026, CAL charges a one-time fee of 500 ILS for opening a new merchant account with CAL.
The charge is billed directly by CAL, and applies only to organizations that choose to open a merchant account with CAL (not with Isracard or Cardcom).
Connecting a CAL merchant account enables support for Diners card processing.
