The fine print

* Donations in CAD and GBP are transferred to the charities through external foundations, Mizrachi Canada Foundation for Canadian donations and UK Toremet Foundation for British donations. The fee will be in accordance with the agreement between the charity and the foundation.
Additionally, CAD donations have a minimum of $36 per donation.

* UK Toremet Ltd (UKT) is a registered UK charitable organization that assists both donors and charities.

Allocations to charities from holders of UKT Charity Accounts incur no charges.

UKT also receives donations earmarked for specific causes or recipient agencies (eg JGive campaigns) from donors without UKT Charity Accounts. In these cases, a proportion of the donation to UKT is retained to cover administrative and other expenses:

  • For private donations eligible for Gift Aid, from UK taxpayers: 100% of the donation received from the donor is regranted. Gift Aid is retained by UKT.

  • For grants from charitable foundations, non-UKT charity accounts, corporations, and other donations from non-UK taxpayers: 5% of the donation is retained.

*Additional direct costs (eg. credit card fees, 3rd party platform fees, etc.) are not covered by the standard retention.

JGive is sharing this information for your convenience. To ensure that the information you receive is up to date, or to apply to become a recipient agency, please visit UK Toremet’s website - https://uktoremet.org.uk/for-charities/
