Donors may reach out for various reasons, such as donating to the wrong campaign, wanting to stay anonymous, or wanting to change the dedication they added to their donation. You can make these changes for them in just a few clicks!
Accessing the Charity Area: Click your profile picture in the top-right corner of the website, and then click the charity's name.
Once in the charity area, click Donations in the side menu on the left side of the screen.
Making Changes to Donations: The Donations tab shows a table of all your donations, with search fields and filters above it. Find the donation you want to change, and click ⋮ in the Actions column on the right side of the table. Then select the appropriate action from the menu.
Move: Move a donation from one campaign to another. The Move Donation window shows the donation's current campaign. In the New Donation Target field, search for the campaign or ambassador you want to move the donation to, and click Save.
Important Considerations:
Donations made outside the platform (personal donation page/smart donation window) cannot be moved.
You can move donations only between campaigns or ambassadors of the same charity, not between charities.
The new campaign must support the same type of donation. For example, you cannot move a recurring donation to a campaign that does not accept recurring donations.
View/Edit Comment: See the comment or dedication the donor added to the donation. If there is none, the field is empty. Edit the text as the donor asked, and click Save.
Edit Sharing: Choose which details appear on the campaign page, under the recent donations: Name and donation amount, Name only or Donation amount only. To save, tick the declaration that the donor is aware of the privacy change and requested it, and click Save.
Important Considerations:
View/Edit Comment and Edit Sharing appear only for donations where the donor chose to share their details with the charity.
Please respect the donor's privacy and do not change the display without their consent.
