Introduction

This simple step-by-step tutorial will guide you through the process of using the share functionality to share meetings with others. You'll learn how to select a specific timestamp in the video, adjust settings for the shared link, and distribute the generated link.

Steps to Share a Meeting

  • Step 1: Locate the Share Icon

    • In your meeting video, there is a share icon located within a blue box.

    • Look for this icon, which is often displayed alongside other emojis on the meeting screen.

  • Step 2: Click on the Share Icon

    • Click on the share icon to open the share menu.

    • A small window will pop up, displaying various options.

  • Step 3: Select Options in the Share Menu

    • You can choose from several options, such as:

      • Summary or Next Steps: Displays a summary or next steps.

      • Show All Metrics: Displays all metrics.

      • Show Video Only: Displays only the video without additional content.

    • Check the "Show Video" box if you want only the video to be shown.

  • Step 4: Select a Timestamp

    • Click on a specific timestamp in the video to define the starting point for the recipient when they open the video.

    • This is especially useful if you want the recipient to jump directly to a certain point in the video.

  • Step 5: Set the Link Validity Duration

    • You can specify how long the generated link should remain valid.

    • Options might include: One hour, one day, one week, or a custom duration.

  • Step 6: Generate the Link

    • After making your selections, click “Generate Link.”

    • A new link will be created based on the settings you chose.

  • Step 7: Copy and Share the Link

    • The generated link will be automatically copied to your clipboard.

    • You can then paste and send the link to the desired recipients.

  • Step 8: Create Additional Links (Optional)

    • If you need to create different links with different settings, repeat the process from Step 3.

    • Each link is independent and can be customized individually.

Conclusion

That's it! You have now learned how to share meetings by setting specific options and distributing the generated link to others.
