How to view Student Progress Graphs
Updated over a month ago

Tracking progress on students' goals is critical for assessing the effectiveness of your instruction. Allow Kit to help you visually track student performance, interpret quantitative data, and make informed instructional adjustments.

On the Student Grid page, click on a student's name to open their profile. After taking data, you’ll notice a gauge to the right of their goals, displaying an average of the data you’ve collected. This provides a quick visual snapshot of the student’s performance. Additionally, by clicking on the drop-down next to a goal, you can view gauges for each of the student’s objectives where data has been gathered. There will be a gauge displayed for each type of calculator you’ve used (such as Accuracy, Frequency, and Opportunity).

Below this information, you can view a line graph for accuracy and frequency data, showing dates and a data point each time that type of data was collected. Opportunity data will appear as a bar graph.

By default, the graph displays the last 6 data points, but you can adjust the view to weekly, monthly, quarterly, year-to-date, or custom date ranges. Hover over any data point to view specific values for a detailed analysis.

There is also an optional trend line that you can toggle on to display a line on the graph showing the average of the data within the selected time frame. This feature is especially helpful when data points vary widely.

Hover over a data point in the graph to view the following info:

  • Goal or objective summary

  • The full goal or objective text below the header

  • Data details for all recorded data including: Accuracy, Opportunity, Frequency, Time, Cues Used, and Subjective Data Notes

  • Date and time of the event
