How to view Student Progress Graphs

Updated over a week ago

Tracking progress on students' goals is critical for assessing the effectiveness of your instruction. The data gauges in a student's profile are a quick way to visually see the average of your students' data over time, so you can easily report on their progress and assess how they are performing.

✨ Getting Started

On the Students page, click on a student's name to open their profile. Once you’ve collected data, a gauge will appear to the right of the student’s goals, offering a quick visual summary of their average performance. Additionally, you can view gauges for each of the student’s objectives by clicking on the drop-down next to that specific objective. There will be a gauge displayed for each type of calculator used (such as Accuracy, Frequency, and Opportunity).

Below each goal and objective, you can view a line graph for accuracy and frequency data, showing dates and a data point each time that type of data was collected. Opportunity data will appear as a bar graph.

By default, the graph displays the last 6 data points, but you can adjust the view to weekly, monthly, quarterly, year-to-date, or custom date ranges. Hover over any data point to view specific values for a detailed analysis.

There is also an optional trend line that you can toggle on to display a line on the graph showing the average of the data within the selected time frame. This feature is especially helpful when data points vary widely.

Hover over a data point in the graph to view the following info:

  • Data recorded with Goal calculators (Accuracy, Opportunity, Frequency, Time)

  • Data recorded with Support calculators (Cue, Visual, Verbal, Physical)

  • Subjective Notes

  • Assistance Level

  • Date and time of the event

🙋 FAQs

Can I print the subjective or session notes from the graph?

Printing session notes is a highly requested feature and planned for future development, but you can upvote that feature here.

In the meantime, you can take a screenshot of your Session Notes or enter notes in the Subjective Notes for each student. During Instruction, click Customize Data under the data calculators and toggle Subjective Notes on to add notes for a specific goal or objective. These notes will populate to the Medicaid page and can be copied to your device or downloaded in a CSV spreadsheet file.

Is it possible to edit the PDF graph printout (i.e. enlarge the graph size, include student's name, goal/objective name, data scores, trend line)?

An updated graph printout is planned for future development, but you can take a screenshot of the graph in the student's profile in the meantime.
