Four things remove the fit preference question. Work through them below — the first one surprises most people.
You set a custom ease value on a measurement
This applies to the Advanced size recommender only. On a Basic apparel recommender, ease and fit preference work together and this does not happen.
Ease tells the Advanced recommender exactly how much room the garment is designed to have, so the shopper is no longer asked to adjust it. When you set a custom ease value on any measurement, the fit preference question is removed entirely.
Clearing every custom ease value brings the question back.
Hide fit preference is switched on
If the Hide fit preference setting is enabled, the question is suppressed and the recommender assumes a regular fit for all shoppers.
You set an intended fit for everyone
Setting an intended fit applies a fixed fit to all shoppers, so there is nothing left for them to choose.
The product category does not use a fit question
Some categories never ask the fit preference question regardless of your settings. These are:
Swimsuits
Bras
Skirts
Leggings
Jumpsuits
Wetsuits
Briefs
