Export notes and work alongside your EHR

Move reviewed Klarify notes into Jane, OWL, SimplePractice, or another record system.

Klarify can be used alongside an EHR even when there is no direct data-sync integration. The usual workflow is to finalize a note in Klarify, then copy or download it and add it to the client's chart in the EHR.

Copy and paste

  1. Open the completed note in Klarify.

  2. Review and finalize it.

  3. Select Copy.

  4. Open the correct client and encounter in the EHR.

  5. Paste the note.

  6. Check headings, lists, spacing, client, and date before saving.

This is usually the fastest workflow for Jane, OWL, SimplePractice, and other browser-based record systems.

Download and upload

  1. Open the note and select the download icon.

  2. Choose TXT, PDF, or DOCX.

  3. Add the file through the EHR's document or attachment workflow.

Use TXT when you need plain text, DOCX when the receiving workflow accepts an editable document, and PDF when you need a fixed-layout copy.

Export more than one note

  • For one client or group, open the record under Clients and choose its data-download action.

  • For all available data in the current clinic, open Settings → General → Download All Data.

Bulk downloads are designed for export and record portability. They are not an automatic import into another EHR.

Recording an EHR-based video call is not an integration

Klarify can record supported browser-based calls in platforms such as Jane or OWL when you use Record virtual session and share the call tab with audio. That captures the session; it does not synchronize client profiles, appointments, notes, or billing data between the two products.
