You can record the cost for the time your engineers spend travelling on a job and the labor time taken to complete a job.
Set Team Member Rates
To do this you need to first set a Job Hourly Rate and Travel Hourly Rate for the Team Member. This is done via editing a Team Member.
If you do not wish to invoice your customers for these costs but just record travel and job time, do not set a rate against a Team Member.
Navigate to Team > Edit Team Member
Once you make your updates, select save.
To record their Travel and Job time against a Job and Timesheet, the mobile app Team Member must use the timer functionality on the app (further information can be found here).
When your Team Member completes and syncs up a Job, their Travel and Job Time cost will be shared in the Timesheets section with the Job Overview or all Timesheets can be accessed by Timesheets on the navigation panel.
You can search for an individual Team Member and filter the time based on; Today, This Week, This Month or Custom Range.
Any recorded Travel and Job time details can be edited by selecting Edit, update the chosen fields and select Update to save the changes. The grid view can be exported to Excel for further reporting.
When you raise an invoice from the Completed Job these billing details will automatically be added to the invoice if you have set a unit cost rate against the Team Member.
If you do not wish to invoice your customers for these costs but just record travel and Job time, do not set a rate against a Team Member.
