When and how often will I be charged?

🤝 Understanding when and how your Lassie insurance payments are charged helps you plan your finances and avoid interruptions in coverage.

Here, you’ll find clear details on your first payment, recurring payments, and how processing times vary depending on your payment method.

Your First Payment

Your first payment is always charged on the start date of your insurance.

Example:
If you purchase your policy on March 5 and choose March 10 as your start date, your first payment will be processed on March 10.

Once your insurance is active, recurring payments depend on your selected billing frequency.

If you pay yearly, you’ll be billed once per year.
Additional charges may occur only if you make changes to your policy that increase your premium (for example, upgrading to a higher coverage level).

If you pay monthly, you can choose your preferred billing date during sign-up:

Either the 1st or the 15th of each month.
If you’d prefer another billing date, such as the 10th of the month, we can adjust it for you.

ℹ️ We can set your insurance to be billed on any day between the 1st and the 28th of the month. Just contact us, and we’ll make the change for you 🫡

The speed of payment processing depends on your selected payment method:

Credit card or PayPal: Payment appears immediately.
SEPA direct debit: Payment is processed within five business days. Delays can occur due to bank processing times or national holidays.
