You can generate discount codes on Let's Do This from your Organiser Dashboard whenever you like.

This article explains how to bulk import multiple codes in one go. For help on creating a single discount code, click here.

Bulk uploading codes

First, to find the Codes section of the dashboard, click on the Growth tab at the top of your dashboard.

Once there, click on the blue Create button on the right hand side:

Once on the Create screen, first make sure you select the Import bulk option on the right hand side, instead of the Single code option

You now need to import your codes.

Click on the blue Download template link. This will create a CSV file. Insert your codes into the new CSV file, and then save it.

Next, upload the new CSV file back into your dashboard. You can do this via drag and drop, or a file search from your computer.

Next, give the new codes you've just created a Code Group name (this is how they'll be identifiable on your Codes dashboard in future).

Once select the discount type and value for your newly uploaded codes. Codes can either be:

  • Percentages - eg 15% off

  • Absolute values - eg £15 off

⚠️ Note: codes uploaded in bulk have the same parameters applied to them. If you want to bulk upload codes with different parameters, you'll need to make separate bulk uploads.

Next, choose what you want your codes to apply to - the entirety of a user's basket (excluding donations, if applicable), or a custom selection of line items, eg tickets, booking fees, merch, or booking form-items.

You also have the option to limit how many times codes can be used, as well as set an expiry date. This will apply to all codes.

Finally, choose where you would like your new codes to be valid. Codes can be valid for specific events, specific distances within events, specific tickets, or a mixture of all the above - it's your choice.

If you want the codes to apply to all of your events, simply leave the 'All Events' box ticked.

Once happy, save your new code group. You'll now be able to see it listed on the Codes section of the dashboard.

You can edit, remove, or create a deep link for your code group at any time. Select it from the list of existing codes, click Modify, and then choose your preferred option.
