You can easily renew an event in order to prepare the next ‘edition’ of your event, for example:

  • Set up next year’s event (eg. update your 2024 Marathon to the 2025 Marathon)

  • Set up the next edition of your recurring series (eg. Summer Triathlon to the Fall Triathlon)

By renewing an event, you’ll benefit from:

  • Significantly reducing the setup time for your future event - no need to start from scratch

  • Having historical participant and event data in context, to help you track your performance gains over time

  • Continuity for your marketplace listing and participant experience, eg. showing reviews from your past events

To help you take advantage of your historic marketplace performance, and to reduce the setup time for your next event, we’ll carry over most of your existing event setup, historic reporting data, and participant reviews. You’ll be able to edit the renewed event in ‘Unlisted’ mode before launching it on the Marketplace.

Which events can be renewed?

You can renew any event that has ended (ie. the Start Date has passed), which has a ‘Past’ event status.

ℹ️ We’re working on the ability to start renewing an event before the start date has passed, so that you can prepare your next event to be launched ahead of time.

How to renew a past event

From your Events page, select ‘Past’ from the dropdown:

Tap the ‘Renew’ button:

You’ll be guided through the renewal step and have the option to set a new start date and event name:

Edit and launch your renewed event

Your renewed event will now be updated in the Events list with Unlisted status. Note that this does not launch your event on the Marketplace immediately.

You can now find your event listed under the Upcoming events list on the Event page. You can select Edit event to review your new event, update any details and prepare it for launch:
