โš ๏ธ This article contains instructions on making transfers yourself through your organiser dashboard. For guidance on enabling participants to transfers themselves, check out our participant self-transfer article.

Intro

Using the organiser transfer tool, you have the ability to:

  • transfer participants to a different event, a different race (ie a distance change within the same event), and a different ticket type.

  • transfer an entry into credit

  • transfer an entry from one person to another.

Getting Started

First, login to your organiser dash and open the start list of the event you are transferring a participant from.

To start a transfer, select the participant(s). You can do this by ticking the checkbox on the far left column of your startlist (if you want to transfer multiple participants at once, you can tick multiple rows).

Next, click on the white Modify button on the right, and choose the Transfer option from the dropdown.

You will now be directed to the transfers page.

There are multiple types of Organiser Transfers. For quick links to guidance on each type, see below:

Transfer using credit

This option allows you to turn an entry into credit to be used on one of your events.

After clicking this option, you'll be greeted with this screen.

From here, you're able to select:

  • select which event(s) the credit applies to

  • select which race(s) the credit applies to

  • select which ticket(s) the credit applies to

  • select whether to include the price of previously purchased add-ons in the credit calculation

  • increase the value of the credit manually

  • select whether you want to subtract an admin fee from the credit

  • select an expiration date for the credit

Once done, click the Next button, where you'll be greeted with a confirmation pop-up. Review your changes, and once happy, click on Confirm transfer to complete the process.

Bulk Transferring to Credit

You can also bulk transfer multiple participants in one go using this option. To do so, simply check the tickbox of each participant you want to transfer in the far left column on the Startlist, before you click on the white Modify button.

Transfer manually and immediately

This option allows you to transfer the participant(s) to another event, ticket, or distance within an event. After clicking this option, you'll be greeted with this screen:

From here, you're able to:

  • select the event

  • select the race (ie, a different distance with the same event)

  • select the ticket type

you'd like to transfer the participant to.

If you want to carry over any add-ons (for example a t-shirt that was purchased originally), you can include them using the checkboxes at the bottom of the screen.

Once done, click the Next button, where you'll be greeted with a confirmation pop-up. Review your changes, and once happy click on Confirm transfer to complete the process.
