You've heard the buzz about early bird pricing and you're eager to offer attendees an irresistible deal for your event. In this guide, we'll walk you through the process of adding an early bird ticket to your event, ensuring that your participants get exclusive access to limited-time offers.

So let's dive in and see how easy it is to set up an early bird ticket!

1. Navigating the Event Dashboard

Once you're logged into your event organizer dashboard, click on the Events page.

Then click on the Event for which you want to create Early Bird Tickets.

Within the Event, locate and click on the "Manage event" section. Here, you'll find all your event details neatly organized for easy access.

2. Accessing Ticket Management

Within the "Manage event" area, proceed to the "Tickets" section. This is where you'll set up and manage the different ticket options for your event. Feel free to sort and search for specific tickets to streamline your workflow.

3. Adding an Early Bird Ticket

Let's say you have an event named "Jungle Race" and you want to introduce an early bird ticket for it. Simply click the blue "Add Ticket" button on the right side of the ticket list. Scroll down to configure the details of your Early Bird ticket.

4. Configuring Early Bird Ticket Details

Fill in the necessary information for your early bird ticket:

  • Ticket Title: Choose a title that clearly reflects the benefits of the early bird offer, such as "Early Bird Entry."

  • Ticket Description: Craft a concise and compelling description, such as "Early access for a limited time only."

  • Ticket Type: Select "Standard" as the ticket type.

  • Fee Percentage: Set the appropriate fee percentage based on your registration fee structure.

  • Ticket Price: Specify the discounted price for the early bird ticket, such as $20.

  • Availability Duration: Choose the duration for which the ticket will be available, for example, one week. Once the end date is reached, you will need to set up another ticket.

  • Age Restrictions: Optionally, set age restrictions based on the date of booking or the race date.

5. Finalizing and Saving

Once you've entered all the relevant details, click the "Update" button to save your changes.

The early bird ticket is now set up in your system.

6. Adding a Booking Form

To make your early bird ticket live, you need to attach a booking form. Navigate to the "Booking Forms" section.

Click on "Add Booking Form" and complete the form details:

  • Form Name: Give your form a clear and descriptive name.

  • Assign to Ticket: Locate and select the early bird ticket you just created.

  • Enable Booking: Check this box to enable the booking form.

  • Form Fields: Customize the form fields as needed, including any additional ones you want to include.

7. Saving and Activating Changes

After configuring your booking form, click the "Update" button and then "Save." This step is crucial, as it ensures that your changes are reflected live on your event page.

8. Confirmation in Event Organizer Dashboard

Head back to your Event Organizer Dashboard, where you'll see the status of your booking form set to "Form Live." This means that your early bird offer is now active and visible to potential attendees.

Congratulations! You've successfully added an early bird ticket to your event, providing participants with an exclusive opportunity to grab their spot at a discounted rate.
