We understand how you feel, and rest assured, many new agents get this feeling: you aren’t alone. Keep in mind that you’re learning a new skill, so you can’t expect overnight success. This is the reason we recommend lower-level Mail-In and Call-In Bonus leads to start: although they have a low rate of turning into apps, they are inexpensive and give you many chances to practice before buying leads that convert much more often but cost more.
Quility Leads Marketplace prices leads so that the typical agent sees 3x Cash Return in Net Commissions ("CRiNC") or better but remember that 1) it can take 4-6 weeks from getting a lead to turn it into an app, so you may need more time and 2) you’re just starting your journey as an agent, you may not yet have reached ‘typical’ agent performance.
If you’re in weeks 1-4 of your new journey, remember that the key to success is consistency. Keep training, keep practicing, and get experience. If you’re in week 5+ and not seeing any success (not necessarily apps, but no appointments either), then review your approach closely with your upline/agency owner. Ask for suggestions and discuss improvement opportunities. Make sure you are attending training calls regularly and reviewing sales scripts (see Calls and Webinars Page in HQ and Available training scripts). Re-visit Summit courses to be sure you are implementing the Symmetry System, work your leads in Switchboard, and use Quility campaigns.
If you feel like you are ahead of the curve and it’s the low close rate of Bonus leads holding you back, talk to your upline. If they agree, read Seasoned New Agent: Taking the Next Steps and start incorporating Lighthouse Leads into your mix. If, on the other hand, you moved to A leads and aren’t seeing success, consider taking a step back to Bonus leads again to hone your approach and diagnose what’s holding you back from the performance of a typical agent.
