The different applications of a learning path

Within Learned you as an employee can get started with your development in a structured way on the basis of learning paths. These learning paths are trajectories that consist of several activities that are all about development.

You can get started with learning paths in Learned in several ways:

  • As a trainee you can work on a traineeship that covers various themes over a longer period of time.

  • As an employee you can be in a development process from a junior to a medior position.

  • As a new employee you can go through an onboarding process.

Get started with learning paths

You can find the learning paths you are following on the 'Development' page on the left side of the menu. Then go in the submenu to Onboard & Learn - Your plan.

When you open the learning path you will see all the learning resources that you can use. A learning path works as follows:

  • The learning path can consist of 1 or more sections containing 1 or more learning resources. Different sections provide a certain structure and are often used to cover different themes.

  • The learning resources within a section can be mandatory or voluntary. If an activity is mandatory, you cannot proceed with the next section until all mandatory activities from the previous section have been completed.

  • The learning resources are, for example, courses, videos or articles that you must follow. Click on a learning resource on the left and update your status to keep track of the progress of this activity. When completing all activities your progress bar of the learning path will automatically be at 100%.

  • When updating an activity you have the option to add a comment to this activity. Your comment will also be visible for your coach.

Tip: Of course, you can also get started with various learning resources outside the learning paths. When you go to the Development - Onboard & Learn page and you click on the tab 'All', you can browse the entire Learned library. On this page, you will see various learning resources that you can add to your development plan, or for example to one of your personal learning goals. The activities will be placed on the page 'Development' under the learning paths.

Next step: discuss the progress of your learning path with your coach

Both you and your coach can add the learning path or other learning activities you are working on as a talking point to your 1-1 conversations. You can easily click through to your learning path from the 1-1 conversation.
