When you are invited to a survey, you can view the results of that survey afterwards within the relevant survey. Besides being able to view results at survey level, you can also use the Engagement report to compare different surveys and themes over a longer period of time.

Engagement report for Admin

As an Admin, you have access to the Engagement report for the entire organization. When you go to Reports (bottom left), the Dashboard immediately shows you an overview of the organization’s engagement score over time and by theme.

From the dashboard, you can directly click through to one of our standard views of the report. You can also expand Engagement in the left sidebar to view the other report views, for example: 'per theme per team'.

Engagement report for coach

As a coach, in addition to your own Engagement report, you also have a Team report. You can access your team's Engagement report in 2 ways:

  1. Via your Team dashboard (bottom left): On the team dashboard, you can quickly see the average engagement in your team, the best scoring and lowest scoring themes. From here, you can also click through to your team's comprehensive Engagement report via 'View report'.

  2. Via Reports (bottom left): Clicking on Reports (bottom left) takes you directly to the Engagement report. As a coach, you have the option to view both your team's Engagement report, and your personal Engagement report.

💡: Are you both Coach and Admin in the Learned platform? Then always access your then Engagement report via the Team dashboard. Then the report will be filtered directly on your team.

What can I get out of the Engagement report as Admin/Manager?

❗️Note: As Admin, you can see the scores for the entire organisation. As a coach, you only see the results of your own team and team members. If you are a coach of multiple teams in Learned, you can select the team whose results you want to view using the filters.

The report includes several standard views where you can examine the results:

  • Over time: Here, you can see the engagement score over time. If multiple surveys have been conducted covering the same themes, you can easily observe fluctuations in overall engagement. Using the filters, you have the option to refine this report, for example, by focusing on a specific theme.

  • Per theme: This report shows you the organization’s average score across the different themes. You can also see the score for each individual theme. The scores can be sorted in order, for example, 'high to low'. In this view, you can easily identify which themes are performing well and which are scoring lower.

  • Per theme per team: This report shows engagement by theme for each team. Here, you can easily see how different teams are performing on a specific theme.

  • Per theme over time: This report shows engagement per theme over time. Using the heatmap colors, you can easily see whether a particular theme has improved or declined in performance. This helps identify which themes need more attention to boost their scores.

❗️Note: A comparison with the Industry benchmark is only shown when there is sufficient data available.

Setting dimensions and filters for your team's Engagement report

Within the Engagement report, you have the option to create your own report using different dimensions and filters based on the data you want to see.

Dimensions

For the report, you can use various dimensions and filters to plot the data you want to see.

  • Primary and secondary dimension: You can choose different dimensions to shape your report. The value you select for the primary dimension is displayed in the leftmost column as rows stacked vertically. For example, you can choose theme, team, survey, or question. By adding a secondary dimension, you can add a layer of detail to the rows, such as viewing the scores for the individual questions within a theme.

💡: Once you have chosen a dimension, you can no longer select it as the secondary dimension.

  • Measurement: In Measurement, you enter the value you want to display in the columns side by side. For example: 'Per year' to compare the average score of a theme from last year with the same score from this year.

  • Heatmap colors: See at a glance what the best and lowest scores are within your team.

  • Company average: Compare the results of your team with the organisation results.

💡 Tip for managers/coaches:

By using different dimensions, you can view your team members’ scores across the various surveyed themes. If you select 'Surveys' as the measurement, you can effectively map the trend line of your team members within the surveyed themes.

Filters

In addition to the different dimensions described above, you can also use various filters to view engagement data for a specific team. The filters can be applied in any view of the report.

💡 Tip for Admins:

Do you want to filter by a segment other than the standard filters in Learned (e.g., part-time/full-time or a specific location)? You can create these yourself using Tags.

📚 Read this article for more information on how to work with Tags.

💡: If you are a coach of a single team, the Team filter is set to your team by default. If you coach multiple teams, you can choose which team’s data you want to view.

Assistance from Luca AI

❗️Note: Assistance from Luca AI is only available for Admins.

With the help of Luca, our AI assistant, it is also possible to analyze the results in the Engagement report. In addition to a summary of the report, Luca will provide tips that you can act on based on the organizational report.

❗️Note: This summary is generated using AI. Please read it carefully and consider whether it is reasonable.

💡: Luca’s assistance can only be used for reports where the primary dimension is Themes.

Save a Custom Engagement report as Admin

Besides being able to use the different filter options with each view, as an Admin you have an additional option in the Engagement report. Namely, when you have created a report, you can save it so that you can easily view the data again next time on the dimensions as you set them up.

When you want to save a report, you have the option to give it a name so you can easily find it next time. Your saved reports can be found under Reports within the Engagement report, which updates over time. When you open your custom report, the name you assigned to it will also appear at the top.

💡: You have the option to add your custom report to your Reports dashboard.

You then have the option to reposition your custom report on your dashboard using drag & drop, or you can remove it from your dashboard using the three-dot menu.
