When you are invited to a survey, you can view the results of that survey afterwards within the relevant survey. Besides being able to view results at survey level, you can also use the Engagement report to compare different surveys and themes over a longer period of time.

Engagement report for employee

As an employee, you can view your own Engagement in a report. You do this via the Report button at the bottom left of the menu.

You can view your own Engagement report in three different ways:

  • Graph: Here you will see a timeline showing your Engagement score. If you have completed multiple surveys, this is where you will see your score over time. So here you can see your score over time at a glance. You can also compare your score here with the score of your team and the whole organisation. These scores appear with a dotted line in the report.

  • Bar chart: Here you can see your scores reflected by theme. Again, you have the option to compare your scores with those of your team or the whole organisation.

  • Table: When you view your Engagement report via the Table tab, you will see your scores per theme reflected with heatmap colours. This makes it easy to visually see what your best scoring and lowest scoring themes are. Again, you have the option to compare your scores with those of your team and the organisation.

Setting dimensions and filters for your Engagement reporting

When you get started with your Engagement report, you have a number of options you can set via the sidebar on the right.

Compare your results with your team or the organisation.

Or filter on time, theme, team and/or survey.

πŸ’‘ Tip: Click for more information about the report and settings on 'About'.

Engagement report for coach

As a coach, in addition to your own Engagement report, you also have a Team report. You can access your team's Engagement report in 2 ways:

  1. Via your Team dashboard (bottom left): On the team dashboard, you can quickly see the average engagement in your team, the best scoring and lowest scoring themes. From here, you can also click through to your team's comprehensive Engagement report via 'View report'.

  2. Via Reports (bottom left): Clicking on Reports (bottom left) takes you directly to the Engagement report. As a coach, you have the option to view both your team's Engagement report, and your personal Engagement report.

πŸ’‘ Are you both Coach and Admin in the Learned platform? Then always access your then Engagement report via the Team dashboard. Then the report will be filtered directly on your team.

What can I get out of the Engagement report as a Coach?

For your team's Engagement report, you have the same display options as for your personal Engagement report: Over time, Totals and Other.

  • In the Graph tab, as a coach you will see a timeline where you can see your team's Engagement score. When there are different measurement moments, you will see the line adjust over time here. In this report, you can compare the engagement of your team with the engagement of the entire organisation. So get an easy insight into how your team scores relative to the organisation.

  • In the Bar chart tab, you as a coach will see the scores per theme reflected. With the sorting options, you can easily see which themes score less well or very well within your team.

  • In the Table tab, you as a coach will again see your team's engagement. Here, you can also compare the scores of your team with those of the entire organisation. In this report, you as coach have the possibility to choose your own dimensions on which you want to see the data.

Setting dimensions and filters for your team's Engagement report

Dimensions

As a coach, you can use different dimensions and filters for your team's Engagement report. The dimensions you can use are:

  • Primary dimension: theme, team, survey or question.

  • Secondary dimension: theme, team, survey or question (depending on your choice for primary dimension, it won't be available to chose as secondary dimension).

  • Measurement: team, survey, question, month, quarter, year.

  • Heatmap colors: see at a glance what the best and lowest scores are within your team.

  • Company average: compare the results of your team with the organisation results.

❗️Note:

  • With the Graph report only 'Company average' is available as dimension.

  • With the Bar chart report only 'Primary dimension is available.

  • With the Table report all above mentioned dimensions are available.

Filters

In addition to the different dimensions, you can also use the following filters to view your team's Engagement data: time, theme, team and/or survey. The filters can be used at each tab explained above.

πŸ’‘ If you are a coach of one team, the Team filter is on your team by default. If you coach several teams, you can choose which team you want to view the data from here.

Engagement report for Admin

As Admin, you have access to the Engagement report for the entire organisation. When you go to Reports (bottom left), you will immediately see an overview on the Dashboard showing the Engagement score of the organisation, the best scoring themes and the lowest scoring themes.

What can I get out of the Engagement report as an Admin?

If you want to drill down deeper into survey data as an Admin, you go to the Engagement report. Here, just like an employee and a coach, you have the option to view the Engagement data of the whole organisation in three ways:

  • Via Graph

  • Via Bar chart

  • Via Table

Of each view of the Engagement report, you have the option to create a CSV export.

Engagement data in Graph tab

When you view the data in the Graph tab, you will see a trend line showing the organisation's Engagement score over time. If you have deployed multiple Engagement surveys, you will see those different data here. In addition, as an Admin, you can compare your organisation's data with the Industry Benchmark here.

❗️Note: An Industry benchmark trend line is shown only when there is sufficient data to show.

Engagement data in Bar chart tab

Viewing the data in the Bar Chart tab shows you the organisation's average score spread across the different themes. Then you also see what the Engagement score of each theme is. In this view, you can therefore easily see which theme scores well, but also which theme scores less well organisation-wide.

πŸ’‘ When viewing the data in a bar chart, you have the option to choose the primary dimension on which you want to view the data. You can choose from:

  • Theme

  • Team

  • Survey

  • Questions

Engagement data in Table tab

In the Table view, you have the option to go even deeper into the data by setting both a primary and a secondary dimension.

πŸ’‘ For more info about which dimensions you can use, click here.

Also in this view, you have the option to compare the organisation data with the Industry benchmark. Note: The Industry benchmark can only be shown if the primary dimension is Theme, and no secondary dimension is selected.

Save a Custom Engagement report as Admin

Besides being able to use the different filter options with each view, as an Admin you have an additional option in the Engagement report. Namely, when you have created a report, you can save it so that you can easily view the data again next time on the dimensions as you set them up.

When you want to save a report, you have the option to give it a name so you can easily find it next time. Your saved reports can be found in Reports under the Engagement report, which changes over time. When you open your Custom report, you will also see the name of the report you gave the Custom report at the top.

A summary and tips based on your Engagement report

Using AI (Artificial intelligence), it is also possible to get a summary of your Engagement report. The summary looks at the following topics:

  • Engagement over time for the organisation

  • Top and bottom three themes

  • Engagement per team

In addition to the summary on the above points, there will also be tips you can pick up based on the organization report.

❗️Note: this summary is generated using AI. Read it carefully, consider whether it is reasonable and use the Learned Engagement model for further scientific evidence to determine your plan of action.
