We enable performance measurement within the Learned platform through the various themes and KPIs that are requested in the evaluation templates. In the Learned Performance report, as a coach you can see the performance score of your team here. As Admin, you can see the score of the entire organization in this report.

❗️ note: It is important for performance reporting to work with the same default rating scale across evaluations to see a reporting over time.

πŸ’‘ By using the standard rating scale you can also easily compare the same themes in different evaluations. The standard rating scale is the basis for the Performance report.

πŸ“š Want more information about the standard rating scale? Read this article.

Performance reporting for Admin

As Admin, you have access to the Performance report of the entire organization. When you go to Reports (bottom left) on the Dashboard, you will immediately see an overview of the Performance score of the organization over time and per team.

From the dashboard, you can directly click through to one of the Performance reports. You can also open Performance in the left sidebar and go to another Performance report, e.g. the skills report over time.

Performance rapportage for Coaches

As a coach, in addition to your own Performance report, you also have a Team report. You can access the Performance report of your team in 2 ways:

  1. Via your Team dashboard (bottom left): On the team dashboard, you can quickly see the average performance of your team. Here you can immediately see the performance score of your team over time based on the results of various reviews, or the performance score of your team in a bar chart. From here you can also click through to the advanced Performance report of your team via 'View report'.

  2. Via Reports (bottom left): When you click on Reports (bottom left), there you will see your team's Performance report. As a coach, you have the option to view both the Performance report of your team, and your personal Performance report.

πŸ’‘ Are you both Coach and Admin in the Learned platform? Then always access your team's Performance report through the Team dashboard. Then the report is filtered directly on your team.

What can I get out of the Performance report as an Admin/Coach?

❗️Note: As an admin, you see the scores of the entire organization. As a coach, you only see the results of your own team and team members. If you are coach of multiple teams in Learned, you can select the team you want to see the results of under filters.

The Performance report has several standard reports where you can view the results:

  • Performance over time: Here you see the performance score over time. If there have been multiple reviews in which the same performance topics were asked, you can see in the timeline whether there are changes in the performance score. You have the option to compare the coach score with the score of the employees and peers. Using the filters you have the possibility to focus this report a bit more, e.g. on a specific team.

  • By team: This report shows the average performance score based on the coach input in a bar chart. The period this report is filtered by default is last 12 months, you have the option via filters to change that to last 24 or last 36 months.

  • Per employee over time: This report shows the performance score per employee over time in a table. Using the dimensions, you can take a deeper look at, for example, Reviews. When an employee has had multiple reviews, here you can see the average score per review and thus see the progression of an employee over time.

  • Per team per theme: Do you want to gain insight into how the different teams score on the different themes that have been asked? You can see that at a glance in this report. Then you can add employees as a second dimension, so you can also see the scores of the employees per theme in this report.

  • By theme over time: This report allows you to see the different themes asked during the reviews with the default rating scale shown in a table over time. This way you can easily see what the changes are within the themes at different times of the year. The last column shows an average score of all measurement moments.

  • By skills over time: You have the ability with this report to see the scores on different skills and KPIs, including the associated focus areas, over time. For example, you can easily find out how the organization is doing on the skills associated with the job profiles, where there might be an opportunity to train employees, or when you are recruiting that you know what skills you would like to bring in.

  • 9-grid: In the 9-grid, Admin can see who the high and low performers are in the organization. You can plot the extracted themes with the default rating scale on the X and Y axis. πŸ“š Want to learn more about how the 9-grid works? Then read this article.

πŸ’‘ The report is based on coach input. You have the option at Dimensions to compare coach input with the scores given by the employee and peers.

Within each report you have the option to click through on a result. A pop-up window will then appear with related results. For example, you can see an employee's scores on the questions belonging to the theme you clicked on.

πŸ’‘ When you are in this pop-up screen, you can use Luca AI as an Admin here. Read what exactly that entails later in this article.

Setting up dimensions and filters for the Performance report

Within the Performance report, you have the ability to use different dimensions and filters to create the report itself on the data you want to see.

Dimensions

For the Performance report, you can use different dimensions and filters to plot the data you want to see. The dimensions you can use are:

  • First, second, third, and fourth dimensions: You can choose different dimensions to shape your report. For example, you can choose members, team, skill, theme, or review.

πŸ’‘ Having selected a dimension, you can no longer select this dimension at the second, third or fourth dimension.

  • Measurement: You have several measurement options to choose for your Performance report. For example, you could choose year, quarter, month. You could also choose reviews, for example, to compare year-end reviews from different years side by side.

  • Heatmap colors: See at a glance what the best and lowest scores are within e.g. the different themes covered in the reviews.

  • Organization average: Compare the scores of teams with the entire organization.

  • Self and peer review: Compare the coach's scores with the scores of employees and peers.

πŸ’‘ Tip for coaches:

By using different dimensions, you can see the scores of your team members within the different themes that are asked out. Then, when you choose Reviews as a measurement, you can properly chart the progression of these team members within the themes being asked out.

Filters

In addition to the dimensions described above, you can also use different filters to view Performance data. For example, you can filter by a specific review or team, as well as by a skill category or a particular Job.

πŸ’‘ If you are a coach of one team, then the Team filter is on your team by default. If you coach multiple teams, then you can choose which team you want to view the data from here.

Assistentie van Luca AI

❗️Note: Assistance from Luca AI is only available to Admins.

With the help of Luca, our AI assistant, it is also possible to have the results analyzed in the Performance report. In addition to the summary on the above points, there will also be tips you can pick up based on the organization report.

❗️ note: This summary is generated using AI. Please read it carefully and consider if it is reasonable.

πŸ’‘It is only possible to use Luca's assistance with Performance reports where the primary dimension is Themes.

Saving a Custom Performance report as Admin

In addition to being able to use the various filter options in each view, as an Admin you have an additional option in the Performance report. Because, when you have created a report, you can save it so you can easily view the data again the next time on the dimensions as you set them up.

When you want to save a report, you have the option to give it a name so you can easily find it next time. Your saved reports can be found in Reports under the Performance report which changes over time. When you open your Custom report, you will also see the name of the report you gave the Custom report at the top.

πŸ’‘ You have the option to add your custom report to your Reporting dashboard.

Then you have the option to drag & drop your custom report to another place in your dashboard, or you can remove this custom report from your dashboard via the 3 buttons.
