Administrators and teachers can use both the Hide Results and Secure Responder features.
NOTE: If an Administrator turns these features on, a teacher can not override these settings.
Hide Results Feature:
We recommend turning this feature on during your testing window. Please remember to unhide student results after testing. Students have many useful reports along with full access to their activity. Please see: Students Reports in the Individual Student Account
Click on the desired activity from the left menu (under Learning Activities or Assesslets).
Click on the underlined title of the activity or Assesslet.
Check the Hide Student Reports box. The checked box indicates the students CANNOT see reports for this activity.
NOTE: Uncheck this box after testing. Student reports are very helpful for student and parent conferences and also for reviewing and re-teaching lessons.
Secure Responder Feature:
The Secure Responder prevent students from opening tools or additional browsers while working on a learning activity or Assesslet. Please note Secure Responder does not work on iPads.
Please view the following guides:
Please note that Secure Responder does not work on iPads.
If you plan to use any other tools, such as a chat, monitoring, or proctoring tool (i.e. Zoom, Teams, Google Meets, etc.), we recommend against using the Secure Responder as it will interfere with these tools.
Important Note: When enabled, the Secure Responder will immediately lock the student out of their activity if they click or navigate anywhere outside of the Responder window, this included using the Search button on Chromebooks and the Control + F Find feature.
