Token History FAQ

Frequently asked questions on the Token History feature - see how your Tokens were spent!

Written by Nick Lee

What is Token History?

Token History is a list of your recent token activity. Each row is a single transaction, showing tokens deducted for a generation, or tokens added from a refund.

It's there to answer the question "where did my tokens go?" without needing to contact support.

Token History is available on paid plans, Teams plans, and the Production API.

Where do I find it?

Go to Settings → Token History.

If you're on a Teams plan, you'll see your own activity within that workspace. Team admins can view the entire team’s activity, or specific members’s activity by selecting from the dropdown.

Production API customers can find their credit activity under Settings → API → Token History.

Token History is not currently visible from our mobile app.

What does each row show me?

Column

What it means

Date & Time

When the transaction happened, in your local timezone

Action

What the tokens were used for, or where they came from; for example Image generation, Motion video generation, Blueprint generation or Upscale

Model

The model used for that generation.

Generation

A link to the asset, where one is available

Tokens

How many tokens/API credits were deducted or added

Note: Rows are ordered newest first, 50 to a page.

Why doesn't this add up to my current token balance?

Token History is a list of transactions, not a running balance.

Your current balance is always shown in the top right of your account, and in Settings → Subscription and Billing.

The list won't always reconcile to it, for a few reasons:

  • Token History only goes back 90 days, but your balance can include tokens that are older than 90 days

  • Some activity doesn't cost tokens at all, such as generations made in Relaxed/Unlimited mode

  • Token History doesn’t currently include token refreshes or top-ups, which will affect your balance.

  • Token gifts granted by our support team are not included in Token History.

If your balance still looks wrong to you, contact support and we'll take a look.

Why can't I see 90 days of history?

Token History shows up to 90 days of activity. You'll see less than that if your account is newer, or if you haven't generated much recently.

We don't display activity older than 90 days.

Why does a row say "Private" or "Deleted" instead of linking to my generation?

Deleted means the generation has been removed from your Library, so there's nothing left to link to. The token transaction still shows, because the tokens were still spent.

Private means the asset isn't viewable by you (the current user). Team admins will see this on other members' rows, admins can see how tokens were spent across the workspace, but not the private assets themselves. They can only see assets marked as ‘Show in Team feed’.

Do failed generations appear here?

Yes. If a generation fails and your tokens are returned, you’ll see a refunded token amount next to (or close to) the generation deduction.

Can I filter the list?

Yes. You can filter by Action and by Model. Team admins can also filter by Member.

I'm a Teams admin. What can I see?

Your workspace view shows token activity for every member of the workspace, so you can see how your team's tokens are being used and by whom.

A few things to know:

  • Members can always see their own activity. There's no setting to turn this off for them.

  • Members can't see each other's activity; the workspace view is the only place cross-member activity appears and is only visible to Admins.

  • If someone leaves the workspace, their historical rows stay in the list.

My Token History is empty

If you haven't generated anything recently, or you've just joined, there won't be anything to show yet. Activity will appear as you generate.

I'm on the free plan and can't see it

Token History is a paid feature. If you'd like to track your token usage, you'll need to be on a paid plan.
