If you need to edit your drafted manuscript, you can easily access and update it from your account dashboard by following the four steps below.

PLEASE NOTE: One key Difference between an uploaded manuscript and a drafted manuscript is that you can have as many drafts as you like but you can only upload once for free and subsequent uploads will be charged.

Every new attempt at uploading a manuscript onto the platform that isn't fully published on to the platform by following the uploading steps to the end and completing this process will create a draft in your personal account dashboard area.

Only uploading attempts that are fully finalised via the uploading process will create a published manuscript that is available for others to read on the platform any backing out of the uploading process or closing of the tab will create a draft that can be accessed and finalised via your personal account dashboard and following the steps below.

Step 1: Go to Your Account Dashboard

Start by logging in to your Libraro account. Once logged in, go to your Account Dashboard, where all your uploaded and drafted manuscripts are stored.

Step 2: Open the “Drafts” Tab

In your dashboard, select the “Drafts” tab. Here, you’ll see a list of any manuscripts you’ve started but haven’t yet published or submitted.

Step 3: Edit Your Draft

Find the manuscript you want to amend and click “Edit.”
You’ll be guided through the same upload steps you followed when you first began the process. The system will automatically open at the last step you completed.

If you need to change details from earlier steps (for example, your title, summary, or genre), simply click the “Back” button to move to the section you’d like to update.

Alternatively you can try to make your way to the Review section at the end in order to also alter the Title, Blurb, Manuscript Genres, Manuscript files e.g. Story about Story, Sample Chapters, Full Manuscript, the publication status and whether you would like to alert users to any early access or sale options for your work alongside the ability to relook over copyright and terms section of uploading too.

Step 4: Save Your Changes

Once you’ve made your updates, continue through the guided steps and save your progress. Your draft will update automatically in your dashboard.

Please Note: You can edit your drafts as many times as needed before publishing and you can have as many drafts as you would like.
