Navigating the Reading Experience

Inside an eBook, you can move through the content in several ways.

You can:

  • Scroll through content within a chapter

  • Move to the next or previous chapter

  • Tap the Table of Contents icon to jump directly to a chapter or section

  • Access scripture by tapping and opening a reference or going to the CSB to read the entire chapter in context

At the bottom center of the screen, you will see the page number within the eBook. This can be helpful when following along with printed materials or leading a group discussion.

The reading experience is designed to keep you focused on the content while making navigation simple.

Searching Within an eBook

You can search within any eBook to quickly find a word, topic, or passage.

To search:

  1. Tap the Search icon at the top of the reading screen

  2. Type the word or phrase you want to find

  3. Select any result to jump directly to that location in the book

This can be especially helpful when preparing to teach a bible study or when revisiting a key idea from a previous session.

Available annotation types include:

These tools allow you to engage with the material in a meaningful way as you study and reflect.

Viewing and Managing Annotations

This opens the Annotation Manager, where you can review everything you've created in that eBook.

Inside the Annotation Manager you can:

  • Filter by annotation type

    • Highlights

    • Notes

    • Workbook Responses

    • Bookmarks
