Opening the App
When you open the Lifeway On Demand app, you’ll be greeted with a welcoming Landing Page, introducing you to your discipleship resources. From here, you’ll need to sign in to access your studies.
Signing In
Tap the "Sign In" button on the Landing Page.
You will be prompted to sign in with your Lifeway account.
If you do not have an account, you can create one by following the prompts on the screen.
Once successfully signed in, you will be taken to the "All Studies" section of the app.
Accessing Your Studies
In the "All Studies" section, you can scroll through and view the covers for all the studies you:
Have access to
Have acquired
Have redeemed
If you notice that a study is missing from your account, and you expected it to be available, you can reach out to Customer Support through the app:
Tap the User Icon in the upper corner of the app.
Select Support to get in touch with our team.
Library Search
The Library now includes a helpful Search option at the top of the screen. As you type, the app will suggest results that match your studies, events, and eBooks. You’ll see titles, authors, and contributors that match your search appear in real-time.
To view full results, press search or tap a suggested search result. From there, you can:
Scroll through a list of matching results
Filter by content type (Study, Event, eBook)
Select any result to jump right in
Search is designed to help you quickly find the content you’re looking for so you can stay focused on the study or event that matters most.
Sorting Studies
By default, the studies will be sorted by "Recent" (the most recently accessed or acquired studies). However, you can change the sort order:
Tap the Sort Option located near the top of the screen.
Choose between sorting the studies:
Alphabetically (A-Z or Z-A)
Recently accessed
Accessing a Study
When you select a study, the app will open up the session menu.
The first session will automatically be available in the video player at the top of the screen.
Below, you’ll see a list of all the sessions for that study, showing:
Thumbnail image for each session
Session title
A brief description of what the session covers.
Watching and Downloading Sessions
From here, you can:
Watch the session directly in the player.
See what session is "Up Next".
Scroll through the list to select and view other sessions.
If you'd like to watch a session offline, you can download it:
Tap the "Download" button next to the session you want to save for offline viewing.
The session will be downloaded to the app and available anytime without needing an internet connection.
eBook Engagement (Beta)
For users who have enabled Beta Features, eBooks now appear alongside your studies and events in the Library tab. If you’ve redeemed an eBook on your Lifeway account, you’ll find it here.
When you select an eBook:
The full reading experience opens directly in the app
You can scroll through each chapter, tap the Table of Contents to jump to sections, or page to the next chapter
You can search within the eBook to find specific terms or phrases
You can create Highlights, Notes, or Workbook Responses (for Bible Studies) as you read
All your annotations are saved to your account and can be reviewed in the Annotation Manager, accessible from the top of the reading view
Annotations
The Annotation Manager lets you filter by annotation type and view everything you’ve marked in that specific eBook. This makes it easy to revisit insights and keep your notes organized as you engage with content that fuels ministry and personal discipleship!
