The Lifeway On Demand app allows you to engage with both live and past events, including simulcasts.

Some events may have access restrictions based on their type or attendance, so it is recommended to check specific details for each event.

Navigating the Events Tab

  1. Open the App and tap the Events tab on the main navigation bar.

  2. You’ll see two sections within the Events tab:

    1. All Events: View current, upcoming, and past events.

    2. Downloaded: Access events you’ve previously downloaded for offline viewing.

Engaging with Live and Upcoming Events

  1. Live and Upcoming Events:

  2. For live and upcoming events, you’ll be directed to live.lifeway.com to log in with your Lifeway account and participate in the live session.

  3. Upcoming Events may also include additional information and available resources related to the event. In some cases, recorded webinars, such as the Deep Discipleship series, may be published later for those who couldn't attend live sessions. Check Lifeway's webinar page for updates.

  1. Past Events:

  2. Access to past events depends on the event's type and specific policies. For some events, recordings are only available to those who registered or attended the live session, while others may offer recordings for a limited time.

  3. If you have permissions, you can engage with past event sessions directly within the app, just like a Bible study.

Viewing and Engaging with Past Event Sessions

For past events that have been made accessible, you can engage with the content as follows:

Note that access rights may vary depending on the event, with some recordings limited to participants or attendees.

General Policies for Lifeway Event Recordings

  1. Live Event Policies: Many Lifeway events are recorded during live sessions, and recordings are later edited for release as Bible study materials. Live digital streaming options are typically unavailable at the original events.

  2. Webinars: Lifeway's webinars often have recordings published online, ensuring those who could not attend the live session can access them.

  3. Exclusive Events: Certain exclusive gatherings, like the women’s Bible teaching symposium, may restrict recordings to attendees only.

  1. Selecting a Past Event:

    1. Choose the past event you’d like to view from the All Events section.

    2. The event’s sessions will be displayed with thumbnails, titles, descriptions, and the length of each session.

  2. Engaging with Event Sessions:

    1. Video Player Features: The same video player tools that are available for Bible study sessions are also available for event sessions:

      1. Play/Pause the video as needed.

      2. Rewind/Fast Forward by dragging the progress bar or using the 10-second buttons.

      3. Full Screen Mode to immerse yourself in the content by expanding the video to your entire device screen.

      4. Casting Options: Cast the session to another device using AirPlay, Chromecast, or connect to a Bluetooth device for better sound.

      5. Playback Speed: Adjust the playback speed (0.5x, 0.75x, 1x, 1.25x, 1.5x, 2x) to suit your preference.

  3. Up Next and Session Navigation:

    1. After completing a session, the Up Next feature will suggest the following session in the event, making it easy to follow through the entire event at your pace.

    2. You can scroll to see all available sessions in the event.

  4. Offline Viewing:

    1. Download past event sessions for offline viewing by selecting the Download button next to each session.

    2. You can manage these downloaded sessions in the Downloaded section of the Events tab.
