Content Inspirations lets you save any web page or post as an idea. Save a LinkedIn post, a Medium article, a Reddit thread, or a YouTube page while you browse. Saved items sync to your LiGo account so you can open them in the web app or extension later and turn them into posts.
This feature is new and exlusive to the v2 extension, and the v2 extension is available only to paid LiGo users.
Quick Checklist
Make sure you have the v2 extension and a paid LiGo plan.
While on any page, click the LiGo icon or right-click a LinkedIn post.
Choose Add to Inspirations/Save to Inspirations.
View saved items in the extension sidebar or in the web app and convert them later.
Before You Start - Requirements & Access
v2 extension only. Content Inspirations is available in the v2 version of our browser extension.
Paid users only. The v2 extension is available only to paid LiGo accounts. If you are on a free plan, see the upgrade options.
Browser & permissions. Use the browser where the v2 extension is installed and allow the extension to access the page.

Note: Saved inspirations are private to your account and sync with the LiGo web app so you can work on them later.
How Content Inspirations Works
There are two easy ways to save ideas:
Right-click on LinkedIn posts. This is the fastest way for LinkedIn content. Right-click the post, choose LiGoAI, then Add to Inspirations.
LiGo icon on pages. On many sites (Medium, Reddit, YouTube, blogs) the LiGo icon appears in the toolbar. Click the icon and choose Save to Inspirations. The extension will capture the main content or the selection you provide.
Saved items appear in the extension sidebar and are also available in your LiGo web app under Inspirations.
From there you can edit, add notes, or convert the item into LinkedIn posts using the Repurpose/Convert feature.
Save Inspirations: Step-By-Step
If you have no saved inspirations, the extension shows a friendly default screen with a few starter prompts to help you begin.
You can either choose on of the presented prompts as your first inspiration, or navigate to the type of content that you would like to add as your post inspiration.
Note: This feature is not just limited to LinkedIn post, similar to the Repurpose Content section, you can save other content such as Medium article, Reddit threads & X tweets.
If you decide to not go through with the prompts given to you, follow the below steps
Step 1 - Navigate & Add to Inspirations
Navigate to your desired content type. In this example we will be using a LinkedIn post. If it is a LinkedIn post that you want to add, then right click on your desired LinkedIn post, select LiGoAI and Add to Inspirations
If you want to add some other type of content: There will be a LiGo icon present on the right of your content’s page. Click it and select Save to Inspirations
Note: If you do not see your saved inspiration then select the Refresh button on the top right corner of the extension page.
Your content inspirations will now be saved, and you can view them any time you like.
You can also click on an Inspiration to either delete it, view the original post that you saved it from, or repurpose the inspiration into a LinkedIn post that sounds just like you (This feature is discussed more in detail here).
If You Do Not See Your Saved Inspiration
Press the Refresh button at the top right of the extension panel.
Check that the extension is signed in to the same LiGo account.
If the problem persists then please contact support. To contact support, click on the message icon on the bottom right of your screen.
Best Ways To Save Inspirations
Save the smallest useful unit. Save a headline, a hook, or one key paragraph rather than the whole article.
Always add a one-line note about why you saved it. That helps later when you revisit many items.
Tag or pin ideas that are part of a campaign.
Group related inspirations so you can turn several into a single content series.
Examples - Real Use Cases
Template reuse: Save a short LinkedIn post structure with a clear hook. Later convert it and re-use the structure with your own story.
Story prompts: Save a Reddit thread that contains a story idea. Add a note with your angle. Convert it into a story-style LinkedIn post later.
Fact check later: Save a Medium article that mentions data you want to check.
Privacy & where your inspirations live
Saved inspirations are private and tied to your LiGo account. Team access depends on account and team settings. If you have a team account and want shared inspirations, check your team settings or contact support.
Note: Do not save private or sensitive information that should not be stored in your account.
Troubleshooting - Common Issues & Fixes
LiGo icon not appearing: Refresh the page and make sure the extension is enabled. Some sites block extension detection, in that case use the manual copy-paste method.
Saved item missing in sidebar: Press Refresh in the extension or open the web app. Check you are signed into the same LiGo account.
Content extracted poorly: If the saved text looks broken, copy a smaller selection manually and use the manual save flow.
Permissions error: Ensure the extension has permission to run on the site or allow access in browser extension settings.
Limits & Known Behaviors
The extension saves what is visible on the page. Paywalled or private content may not save.
Some sites block extensions and prevent automatic detection. Use right-click or manual copy in that case.
Inspirations sync to the web app. Very large batches may take a moment to appear.

Common Questions
Q: Can I save a private or paywalled article?

Your saved inspirations appear in the extension sidebar and in the LiGo web app under Inspirations. From there, you can open the source, delete an item, add notes, or convert it into a LinkedIn post using the Repurpose/Convert feature.
Q: Why isn’t my saved inspiration showing up?
First, click Refresh in the extension sidebar. If it still doesn’t appear, check that you're signed in to the same LiGo account in both the extension and web app. If the problem continues, contact support through the message icon at the bottom right of your screen.
Q: Are inspirations shared with my team?
Inspirations are tied to your LiGo account. Team sharing depends on your account settings. Contact support to set up shared libraries.

No. Saving an inspiration does not publish anything. Repurposing an inspiration produces draft posts only. Posting to LinkedIn requires you to do it manually.
