Before You Start - Requirements & Access

  • The Prospects feature works only in the v2 extension.

  • The v2 extension is available only to paid LiGo users. Visit the pricing page if you need to upgrade.

  • Install the v2 extension in the browser you use for LinkedIn

  • Make sure the extension has permission to run on LinkedIn

  • The tool saves public profile info that is visible when you open a profile. Private info or data behind logins may not be captured.

Add A Prospect: Step-By-Step

Note: You do not need to visit a user's profile directly to add them to CRM. You can also do so while scrolling through your feed and encountering the user's post.

  1. To add a prospect: Navigate to their profile, right-click and select Save to LiGo

  2. Another way of adding a prospect is by right-clicking on the prospect's LinkedIn post and selecting the Save to CRM option

  3. You will be greeted with the following modal

You can edit the following details of the prospect before saving them (Don't worry, you can still edit the information of your prospects after saving them):

  • Full Name (Required)

  • Job Title

  • Company

  • Location

  • Email

  • Prospect Stage

  • Custom Labels

  • Notes

If you do not see your saved prospect then select the Refresh button on the top right corner of the extension page.

Pro Tip: Add custom labels to filter out prospects based on your assigned labels.

Prospect Manager - View, Edit & Filter

View A Prospect

On the prospect manager page, you can view your prospects name, their prospect stage and the link to their LinkedIn profile. You can select Full CRM to get a more detailed view of all your prospects in the webapp.

Edit/Update A Saved Prospect: Step-By-Step

To update a prospect you already saved:

  1. Open the extension and go to Prospect Manager.

  2. Find the prospect and click to open the detail view.

  3. Edit any field you need and click Save or Update.

  4. Changes sync to Full CRM and the web app.

This is useful if you get a contact email later or want to move the prospect to a new stage.

Filter By Label

You can also filter your prospects by the custom labels that you had assigned earlier

Full CRM View - What You See And When To Use It

Select Full CRM from the extension to open the detailed CRM page. It displays more fields & gives you a bulk of actions such as:

  • Bulk export of selected prospects

  • Bulk stage updates

  • Full activity log

  • More space to write long notes

Use Full CRM when you want to run reports, export leads, or manage many prospects at once.

Priority & Sorting - How To Surface Important Leads

  • You can mark prospects as Priority in the manager.

  • When you select Priority, prospects are arranged by stage so you see the leads that need action first.

  • Use Priority to keep your follow up list short and urgent.

  • You can also sort manually or filter by label to focus on a specific campaign or job role.

Quick Actions - One Click Saves Time

From each prospect entry you can run quick actions:

  • Jump to profile - Open their LinkedIn profile in a new tab.

  • Copy email - Copy saved email to clipboard.

  • Edit - Open the edit form right in the extension.

  • Delete - Remove the prospect if no longer needed.

These actions help when you move fast during outreach.

Best Practices For Capturing Leads

  • Add labels when you save. Labels make filtering fast & saves your future self plenty of time.

  • Write a short note that explains why you saved them. One line is enough.

  • Set the correct stage at save time. That makes follow up easier.

  • Capture an email when you have it. Emails make outreach quicker later.

  • Review new prospects in batches each day. Quick daily checks beat messy lists.

Examples - Common Use Cases

  • Sales outreach - Save decision makers while you browse company pages. Add label “Q3 outreach” and export the list later.

  • Recruiting - Save candidates, add a note about fit, and move them to “Interview” when ready.

  • Partnerships - Save partners with label “Partner outreach” and set a follow up stage.

Privacy and Data Storage

  • Prospect data is stored in your LiGo account.

  • Saved items are private to your account unless you use a team feature that shares lists.

  • Do not save sensitive personal data that you do not have permission to store.

  • If you plan to share prospect data with your team, check your account settings or contact support.

Troubleshooting - Common Issues & Fixes

  • Save option missing: Refresh the LinkedIn profile page. Check the extension is enabled and signed in.

  • Saved prospect not showing: Click Refresh in the extension panel. Check you are signed into the same LiGo account in both the extension and web app.

  • Wrong account signed in: Sign out and sign in with the correct LiGo account in the extension.

  • Fields not editable: Make sure the extension version is up to date. If the problem remains, restart your browser.

If none of the solutions help, or if you have faced an issue that is not highlighted here then please reach support by clicking on the message icon on the bottom right of your screen.

Limits & Known Behaviors

  • Prospects work on public LinkedIn profiles. Private or restricted profiles may not be saved.

  • The extension saves the data you can see on the prospect's profile. It does not fetch private contact info.

  • Sync to Full CRM may take a moment if you save many prospects at once. Use the Refresh button if needed.

Access & Pricing

Prospects is an exclusive feature in the v2 extension. The v2 extension and Prospects are available only to paid LiGo users. Visit Pricing Page to compare plans or upgrade your account.

Common Questions
