What is the Timeline?
The Timeline is your one-stop view of all Firm and Client interactions—messages, emails, files, tasks, and more—organized in the order they happened. It helps you stay up to date on any client without switching tabs or searching through inboxes.
What does the Timeline show?
The Timeline includes activity such as:
Messages
Emails (with Gmail or Outlook integration)
SMS
Tasks
Requests
Files
Notes
How does the Timeline work?
Liscio automatically adds every new action to the Timeline, creating a running record of client interactions. If you connect your Gmail or Outlook, client emails will also appear here automatically.
How do I access a client’s Timeline?
Click on the client’s Account or Contact—the Timeline is the default landing view.
Why connect email to the Timeline?
With email integration:
Firm-wide visibility: Everyone sees the same client history—no digging through inboxes or forwarding emails.
Effortless collaboration: Teams stay on the same page.
Better service: Anyone can assist a client without missing key details.
Why is a client’s Timeline blank?
It just means no activity has been recorded yet. Once interactions begin, the Timeline will populate automatically.
Can I delete items from the Timeline?
No, the Timeline reflects actions taken in other areas of Liscio:
Emails removed from an Account or Contact will disappear from the Timeline.
Deleted files will also no longer appear.
You cannot delete Timeline items directly.
How far back does the Timeline go?
The Timeline captures all activity from January 2023 onward.
