Once your application is approved, you can split your rent during our rent window. Here’s how timing works:
✅ Step 1: Get Approved First
You’ll need to go through Livble’s application process before splitting rent. Once approved, you’ll receive both an in-app widget notification and an email confirming you’re eligible.
Pro Tip: Apply (and split) early - ideally before the 1st - to avoid delays or processing fees. If you apply outside the Rent Window, you’ll need to return when it reopens.
🗓 Step 2: Understand the Rent Window
The Rent Window is the specific timeframe each month when you’re eligible to split rent.
Typically opens 5 days before the end of the month and closes at 11:59 PM PT on the 5th.
You’ll be notified via push and email when the window opens.
Reminder: If you split rent after 2 PM ET or on a weekend/holiday, your split-rent may be delayed until the next business day’s bank processing time.
📆 Step 3: Choose Your Installments
Before splitting your rent, you’ll select installment dates for the rest of the month (up to 4 total):
All dates must fall within the same calendar month.
You can drag and drop your dates (excluding weekends) if supported by your tenant portal.
💳 Step 4: First Installment = Due Immediately
When you click “Split my rent,” your first installment (downpayment) is debited right away.
You cannot select a future date for this payment.
This payment secures your loan and triggers Livble to pay your rent.
🔎 What Else to Know
Processing Fees: Splitting after the 1st will trigger a $5–$10 fee.
Late Fees: If a late fee is incurred during a delayed split-rent, it’ll be added to your loan amount.
If there’s a late fee already on your ledger when you try to split, you’ll be ineligible that month.
Pending Status: If your rent shows “Pending,” it’s scheduled for the next business day’s 2 PM ET payment window.
📲 Track Your Plan
If your portal includes the Livble widget, you can track your plan there. Otherwise, sign in to the Livble app with your phone number to view your schedule and installment status.
