Hey there! Let's walk through how you can export your passwords from Firefox and get them ready for importing into Lockwell. It's a simple step-by-step process.

  1. Click on the menu button (the three horizontal lines) to open the Firefox menu panel.

  2. In this panel, select "Passwords." This will open a new tab with the Firefox about:logins page.

  3. In the top-right corner of the about:logins page, you'll see a button with three dots. Click it, and from the dropdown, select "Export Logins…".

  4. You'll see a dialog box informing you that your passwords will be saved as readable text. To proceed, click on "Export…".

  5. Enter your device password to confirm the export.

  6. Choose a name and location for your exported file. Ensure it's saved as a CSV!

  7. Follow this guide to format your CSV file for import to Lockwell.
