Request Account Deletion or Cancellation

Important Note: Account deletion permanently and irreversibly deletes your Lockwell account and all of your data, including all password vault records.

How to Request Account Deletion

Account cancellation must be requested via chat support. For security purposes, an admin of your Lockwell organization must reach out to confirm so that we can assist with offboarding your account to ensure secure handling and deletion.

Lockwell Users

  1. Ask an admin of your Lockwell team to follow the steps below to request your account deletion.

Lockwell Admins

  1. Open the Lockwell Desktop or Web app & click the chat button in the bottom-right corner.

  2. Send us a message requesting account deletion for yourself or a member of your team.

  3. If requesting a reset for a team member, please include their Lockwell account email.

How to Request a Cancellation

We understand that circumstances change, and you may need to cancel your subscription. Our goal is to make this process as seamless as possible while ensuring clarity around billing.

Cancel during first 30 days

1. Request a full deletion - We will delete all records and close the account

2. Cancel at the end of trial date - You can stay on our Full Protection plan and be automatically cancelled at the end of the first 30 days.

3. Downgrade to Free Team Password Manager - Simply downgrade for free.

Cancel as a paying Customer

1. Request a full deletion - We will delete all records and close the account

2. Cancel at the end of billing cycle - You can stay on our Full Protection plan and be automatically cancelled at the end of the billing cycle that month.

No Refunds

  • We do not offer refunds for partially used billing periods.

  • If your subscription renewal payment is processed on the 1st of the month and you notify us of your cancellation afterwards, no refund will be provided for the unused portion of the month. Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing cycle, but no further charges will be made after the cancellation has been processed.

Finality of Cancellation

  • Once your cancellation request has been processed, your account will not be billed for subsequent months. You will continue to have access to the service until the end of your current billing cycle.
