During your trip, several features are available to you:

➡️ Switch the display on your screen between Google Maps and the LOVÉLO libre-service app, if you have selected GPS navigation.

Pausing a trip:

➡️ It is not possible to pause a bike near a station.

Away from a station, find a location where you can securely park your bike without obstructing pedestrians or other vehicles.

Then proceed as follows:

  1. Open the app, recenter your GPS position using the icon, and tap the “Pause” button.

  2. Attach the bike to a fixed point and manually lock the wheel lock — this action is mandatory.

To resume your trip 🚴‍♂️:

Click the “Unlock” button in the app and continue on your way!

⚠️ Pausing does not end your rental: the pause time is charged under the same conditions as riding time, and you must return the bike to a station to complete your rental.

Having trouble resuming your bike after a pause?

If you manually lock the bike without first indicating the pause in the app, communication between the bike and the app may be disrupted. This can make resuming the rental more difficult. In this case, please carefully follow the procedure below:

➡️ Close the app (force stop via the app manager or close it from the background).

➡️ Disable your phone’s GPS.

➡️ Move the spokes of the rear wheel so that the lock emits a continuous beep (to refresh the GPS). Wait 30 seconds to 1 minute.

➡️ Reopen the app and reactivate GPS by tapping the “Target” icon.

➡️ In the app, tap “Unlock bike.”

Attention!

If the “Pause” button is grayed out or missing, it means you are too close to a station. Locking the bike within this area will end the trip, but the return will not comply with the Terms and Conditions (a penalty will apply).

What to do in this case? 🚦

Wait 5 minutes.

Select the nearest LOVÉLO libre-service station to your location via this button, verify that your bike number is displayed correctly, then scan the QR code on the lock to unlock it.
