Introduction
This article will guide you through the process of establishing VIP Tiers in Loyoly, which can significantly boost customer engagement and loyalty.
We'll cover naming your tiers, setting goals, and assigning rewards and additional benefits. Initially, there are three default VIP tiers—Bronze, Silver, and Gold—so we'll begin by explaining how to customize these.

Editing VIP Tiers
When you first open the VIP Program in the Rewards tab, you will see that there already 3 VIP tiers configured: Bronze, Silver, and Gold. You can edit these tiers by following the steps below.
From your Loyoly dashboard, go to Rewards.
Click Edit to access the VIP settings.
Edit the tier you'd like to configure.
Tier Name
Enter the name of the tier and a nice image. While the default names are Bronze, Silver, and Gold, you have the flexibility to choose names that resonate with your brand. The choice of tier names is a crucial decision.
💡 For the icon, we recommend PNG or JPEG images with dimensions of 375x375 pixels.
Goal to achieve tier
Specify the requirement that a customer must meet to access this tier. Depending on your settings, it'll be a number of points or amount spent.
Establishing these goals provides your customers with a clear target to aim for, introducing a gamification element that can drive greater engagement with your store.
Rewards to unlock
Here, you can add unique rewards that customers unlock upon reaching a certain tier.
Types of VIP Tier Rewards to Unlock include the same rewards that you can usually set up. You can find them all in this article.
Consider your customers' preferences and interests when setting these rewards, as enticing rewards are more likely to motivate customers to achieve higher tiers.
Points Multiplier
The points multiplier feature allows you to enhance the point-earning potential for your users. By keeping the multiplier at x1, users will earn points at the standard rate.
You have the flexibility to adjust this multiplier to amplify the number of points your customers can accumulate, offering an enticing incentive for increased participation and engagement with your loyalty program.
Point reward
You have the option to decide whether or not to provide additional points as a reward.
On one hand, you can choose not to offer extra points, maintaining the user's current point balance.
On the other hand, you can choose to grant points as an acknowledgment and incentive for reaching the tier.
This flexibility allows you to tailor the point reward system to best align with your program's goals and user engagement strategy, whether that involves preserving point balances or boosting user motivation through point bonuses.
Add a VIP tiers
To add a new VIP Tier, follow these simple steps:
Navigate to Rewards from your Loyoly dashboard.
In the VIP Tiers section, select Add Tier.
Follow the previous steps.
You can add up to 5 tiers.
📝 Note: The system will automatically place your new tier in the right sequence, according to the achievement threshold you've specified. So, tiers with higher thresholds will naturally follow those with lower ones.
Delete a VIP Tiers
To delete a VIP Tier, follow these simple steps:
Navigate to Rewards from your Loyoly dashboard.
In the VIP Tiers section, Edit the tier you want to delete.
Then, click on Delete this tier
Don't forget that you need at least one tier.
📝 Note: Previously issued rewards from this tier will remain available to users who have already unlocked them.
