Introduction
Recharge is one of the most popular payment and subscription platforms you can integrate into your loyalty program. Integrating Recharge will enable you to offer specific rewards for subscriptions.
📝 Note: Recharge must be installed on your Shopify store before starting this process.
How to connect Recharge to Loyoly
Connecting to Recharge is a two-step process.
1. Log in to Shopify
Then go to :
Apps → Recharge
Apps → API Tokens
Fill in the key name and your email address
Grant the following permissions:
Validate Recharge terms of use
Hit Save to generate the API key
2. Log in your Loyoly backoffice.
Then go to :
Settings → Integrations
Click on Connect
Copy and paste your API key
Discounts taken into account :
Gift voucher
Promotional code
Delivery charges
Once the integration is connected, each discount can be added to a recurring order via the Recharge merchant portal.
Create your rewards
Eligible rewards
There are several places where you can set up rewards for Recharge subscriptions:
In the rewards section.
In VIP tier rewards.
In VIP tier birthday rewards.
For the referring member in the referral section (voucher and discount code only).
💡 Remember to change the title and specify in the description that this reward only applies to subscriptions.
Paramétrage

Reward parameters are the same as usual. You simply need to add the number of times the discount can be applied:

How to use a reward
On the customer side
After claiming a reward linked to Recharge, users will need to apply it directly in their Recharge portal.
Click on Manage this subscription
Add the discount code
💡 All conditions defined for your reward, such as minimum basket requirement, application to specific collections, and reward expiration, will apply to initial and recurring orders.
In your backoffice
As soon as a Recharge reward is claimed, a code will be created in the Discounts tab.
You can track the use of the reward in the reward details.
