How to Update Your Shipping and Billing Address in LTL Select

Keeping your shipping and billing information current is essential for accurate invoicing and seamless LTL shipments. An outdated address can lead to carrier validation errors and delays.

This guide will walk you through the simple process of updating your addresses in LTL Select.

Before You Begin: Two Important Checks

  1. Address Matching is Key To ensure successful validation, the address you enter must exactly match the information on file with the carrier. Our system validates addresses directly against carrier data to prevent errors.

    1. Note: A small difference like "123 Main Street" vs. "123 Main St" can cause a validation error. Please use the official, carrier-recognized version of the address.

  2. Verify Your Permissions ✅ If you are not the primary owner of the account, please ensure you have been granted the necessary permissions by the account owner to modify location details. You will not be able to save changes without the appropriate access rights.

Step 1: Open the Main Menu

Click on the main menu icon (the three horizontal lines ☰) located in the top-left corner of the screen.

Step 2: Navigate to Locations

From the dropdown menu that appears, click on Locations.

Step 3: Choose the Location to Update

You will see a list of all your saved locations or accounts. Click on the specific location you wish to update.

Step 4: Edit the Shipping and Billing Information

On the Location details page, you will find boxes for Shipping and Billing Information. Click into the fields and type in the updated address details.

Once you have entered the correct information, be sure to save your changes by clicking Update.

If you encounter any problems or do not have the permissions to make these changes, please contact your account owner or our support team for further assistance.
