We are excited to announce a powerful new tool designed to simplify your shipping workflow! Based on user feedback, you can now schedule a pickup for any of your FedEx shipments without ever leaving the LTL Select platform.
This new feature provides a single, convenient place to manage your shipments from booking to pickup.
How to Access the Request Pickup Page
Click on the‘Request Pickup’ in the top your LTL Select dashboard.How to Request Pickup
Account Information
Select the FedEx account number that will be associated with the pickup.

2. Pickup Address
Enter the full address details for where the shipment will be picked up, including the contact name, company name, and a valid phone number.
Note: If it’s an outbound pick up the information will be filled automatically. For inbound or 3rd party this section needs to be fill out with the pick up address.
3. Pickup Information
Pickup Date: Select the pick up date
Ready/Close Time: Specify the window of time when your shipment will be ready for the driver.
Special Services: Necessary accessorials (i.e. Liftgate Delivery)
Special Instructions: Add any pickup remarks for the driver (i.e., "Use loading dock B," "Call upon arrival").
Add an email address if you want to receive pickup request confirmation notifications.
4. Shipment Information
There are two ways to add shipments to your request! You can either select from existing shipments created in LTL Select without a pickup, or you can enter your details manually.
Enter necessary details for shipments not in system, provide the essential details about the shipment itself, including:
Country and Destination ZIP Code
Service Type
Total Weight
Number of Handling Units
Package Type
Submitting Your Request
Once you have filled out all the required information, click the ‘Submit Pickup Request’ button at the bottom of the page.
If your request is successful, a confirmation message will briefly appear on your screen saying, ‘Successfully sent!’
If there are any errors or missing information, a message will appear detailing what needs to be corrected before you can resubmit.
After a successful submission, your pickup request is sent directly to FedEx on the back end, and you’re all set.
