How to Connect Your Shopify Store to LTL Select
The LTL Select <> Shopify integration lets you push orders from your Shopify store directly into LTL Select, saving you from manually entering shipment details. Once connected, you can send orders over with a click and get straight to booking.
What this integration does today:
Pulls your order's ship-to address into LTL Select automatically
Populates item descriptions based on what was ordered
Sends orders to your LTL Select dashboard ready for review
What you'll still need to do manually:
Add weight and dimensions for each shipment. You can click ‘Book’ and quickly add those few remaining details to get the shipment booked. NOTE: This is a feature that will soon be facilitated
Step 1: Go to the Integrations Hub
In LTL Select, navigate to the Integrations Hub page in the main navigation.
Step 2: Connect Your Shopify Store
Find the Shopify card and click Connect
Select the location you want to link to your Shopify store
Enter your Shopify store domain in the field provided (for example: yourstore.myshopify.com)
Click Install
This will redirect you to Shopify's app installation page.
Step 3: Install the App in Shopify
On the Shopify installation screen you will be prompted to install an app called “Socket Connect”. Socket Connect facilitates the orders integration between Shopify and LTL Select. Click Install. You may see a notice that the app hasn't been reviewed yet. That's expected very soon. Go ahead and install.
Once installed, the app will appear in your Shopify store.
Step 4: Copy Your Integration Key
Head back to LTL Select and go to the Integrations Hub. You'll see your unique integration key for this connection. Copy it.
Paste the key into the app within Shopify to complete the link between your store and LTL Select.
Step 5: Push an Order to LTL Select
When you're ready to ship an order from Shopify:
Go to your Orders in the Socket Connect App
Open the order you want to ship
Click Push to LTL Select
The order will appear in LTL Select under Orders > Action Required.
Step 6: Complete Your Shipment
In LTL Select, open the order. You'll see the delivery address and item description already filled in. From here:
Add the weight and dimensions for the shipment
Get a rate and book like you normally would
