You can cancel a VPS yourself from its page in the client area. You can stop it right away or at the end of the period you already paid for.
A canceled server is deleted with all its data, and this can't be undone. Copy anything you want to keep before you cancel.
How to cancel your VPS
Step 1: Open your server's page.
Go to My servers and click Manage next to the server.
Step 2: Open the cancellation form.
In the menu on the left, under Actions, click Request Cancellation.
Step 3: Fill in the form.
Write a short reason and choose a Cancellation Type. If you want a refund, write the word refund as the reason.
Step 4: Send the request.
Click Request Cancellation. A green message confirms that the request was sent.

When the server stops
Immediate is selected by default. The server is deleted as soon as the request is processed (within 24 hours).
End of Billing Period keeps the server running until the period you paid for ends. Then the server is deleted and doesn't renew.
Sending the request also cancels the server's unpaid renewal invoice, if there is one.
Stopping a cancellation sent by mistake
While a cancellation request is waiting to be processed, the server's page shows this notice:
If you sent the request by mistake, open a ticket in Billing right away. Support can stop a request that hasn't been processed yet.
With Immediate, the cancellation request may be processed before support can stop it.
