What changed
Until now, your school was notified about a lead capture form only once the prospect submitted it. Lumion can now also notify you when someone starts a form — as soon as they begin entering their details, before they finish.
Who this affects
Any school using lead capture forms on its website. It is most valuable for admissions teams who want to follow up on prospects who begin an inquiry and then abandon it partway through.
What you do
Go to Settings and open your notification preferences.
Find the lead capture notifications section.
Turn on the "form started" notification and choose who should receive it.
Save.
What you'll see
When a prospect begins filling in one of your capture forms, the people you selected receive a notification. If the prospect goes on to complete the form, you will also receive your usual submitted-form notification as before — the two are separate.
Partial entries give you whatever the prospect had typed before they stopped, so the amount of detail varies. Some will include a name and phone number; others may include very little.
Things to know
A started form is not a completed lead. Treat it as a signal to follow up, not as a confirmed inquiry.
Busy sites may generate a noticeable number of these alerts. Consider routing them to a single shared inbox or a small group rather than the whole team.
